We have all seen the Halloween and fall décor everywhere we go; our friends and families’ homes, the grocery stores, and all throughout the malls.  It’s October! Spooky Season has commenced and the festivities are about to get started! I’m sure everyone has been working hard to keep their “bikini bod” all summer, or just trying to live a #HealthierLifestyle in general. So, let’s keep it up! If you aren’t where you want to be with your health or lifestyle, it’s never too late to start! Let’s start today! This month is for dressing up, and being whoever you want to be! Here are some scary healthy Halloween meals, treats and adult beverage recipes for all of those ghoul gatherings, freaky fun and pumpkin carving parties to come. 

Fruit & veggie trays are refreshing, healthy, delicious and add vibrant color to your countertops! Guests will love these fun fruit & veggie tray ideas because they are guilt-free and great conversation starters. Cover a tray in bananas dressed as ghosts and oranges disguised as jack-o-lanterns. Dress another tray up with veggie sticks and fill a tiny pumpkin with veggie dip to complete the “fall” look for these finger foods. These cute and inviting snacks will be snatched up by guests of all ages, and will be the talk of the party!

Now, for dinner time, you may be tempted to eat the festive pizzas, green mac and cheese, all the dips and chips and greasy finger foods you can shove into your mouth. But don’t fall victim of these frightening foods this Halloween season! Instead, try this delicious and fall friendly pasta alternative:
Spaghetti Squash.

Squash is one of the most “October-y” foods out there. Being a relative of the all-time Halloween favorite, the pumpkin, the squash would be a great touch to your holiday dinner. Spaghetti Squash is unique, filling and very tasty when paired with meat sauce or buttery garlic sauce. After, mix in as many veggies as you like to add more color to your “noodles.” Serve spaghetti squash in a huge pot or in their natural bowl-like outer shell.

Another unforgettable meal would be these frightfully delicious Jack-O-Lantern shaped Stuffed Peppers. Give them a southwestern flair and stuff them with shredded chicken, or ground turkey, lettuce, rice, black beans, avocado and a little dash of melted cheese on top. These stuffed peppers will lighten up anyone’s day with their cute smiles and their scary healthy ingredients.

Of course, a party with no desert is no party at all! Here are some desert options that will satisfy your guests’ sweet tooth and their taste buds as well. Show off this beautiful platter of Caramel-drizzled Apple slice nachos. This decorative and yummy desert tray looks amazing and could pass as a sweet-n-spooky spider web that your guests would devour. 

Next to the apples, these white-chocolate covered strawberries look just as delicious and nutritious. Add a twist to this classic desert by dabbing some chocolate drops on them and morph these harmless treats into festive, floating ghosts.

Our new location is now open and we are having a great time!  We are so happy to be in our brand new, state of the art facility that is over 27,000 square feet! This new location affords us the ability to provide our clients and experienced Personal Trainers and Wellness Professionals with state of the art equipment, beautiful locker rooms/showers, a larger Kids Club Daycare Room, a full-service front desk area, a Smoothie Bar, Coffee Bar, Tre Spa 2 Salon, free expanded parking lot, multiple workout rooms for specific routines (TRX, Boxing, Pilates, etc) as well as office space for a variety of Wellness Services such as massage therapy, chiropractic services, and more! 

This new facility was specifically designed for our "core" service, which is Personal Training. With that in mind, we interviewed and requested feedback from several top trainers about the design and we are very happy with the results. Our goal with this new facility, was to attract the most experienced, best Personal Trainers in the Houston area. We feel that we have accomplished this and we will continue to provide exceptional amenities and services to our clients and trainers alike in order to maintain this high standard of quality.
